Ellen DeGeneres & Portia de Rossi Nearing Divorce?
Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are close to getting a divorce, according to a false headline.
The talk show host and her wife were on vacation in Amsterdam earlier this month, when Star magazine thought it would be a great idea to mashup a fake news story.
According to the tabloid, the couple decided they would head to an oversees location because they hoped to “rekindle the flame” in their relationship, furthering, “They wanted to get away before Ellen goes back to work again,”
Their busy schedules “have driven a wedge between them.” an alleged source tells Star — with DeGeneres now entering into the 17th season of her daytime talk show, “Ellen and Portia were really having trouble balancing their work and home life … so they’re putting in the effort to try to reconnect before life gets hectic again.”
We spoke to a source that tells us their relationship isn’t close to coming to an end, and the vacation to Amsterdam was just what any other healthy couple would do — a mini-break from reality.
Last week, Ellen shared an Instagram post that honours the 11th wedding anniversary of her and Portia. She wrote, “Happy anniversary, Portia. 11 year. My favourite number with my favourite person.”
