Elon Musk Challenges Vladimir Putin To A Fight Over Ukraine

Elon Musk, the richest man in the world, has challenged Russian President Vladimir Putin to a fight over Ukraine. 

The Tesla and SpaceX chief took to Twitter on Monday, where his messages are notoriously erratic, to challenge Putin to a “single combat” fight, with the winner getting Ukraine.

“I hereby challenge Владимир Путин to single combat Stakes are Україна,” he wrote.

When one of Musk’s followers replied saying that he might not have thought his challenge through, Musk reiterated that he was “absolutely serious.”

“If Putin could so easily humiliate the west, then he would accept the challenge. But he will not,” he added.

The head of Russia’s space agency, Dmitry Rogozin, later responded to Musk’s challenge, posting lines from Alexander Pushkin’s poem Tale of the pope and of his workman Balda.

“You, little devil, are but young and frail. Do you compete with me? you will only fail; It is time and work wasted for you; Beat my brother, and you will see!,” Rogozin quoted, in Russian.
