Elton John Considers Lil Nas X One Of His Heroes

Elton John calls Lil Nas X one of his heroes after a photoshoot for the New York Times.

The 74-year-old singer has shown his support for Lil Nas X again.

He has also praised the rapper after backlash he received for kissing a man on national television.

Nas, real name Montero, is starting to gain the title of an LGBTQ+ icon. From the beginning of his career, the 22-year-old  has made many bold decisions.

Elton John stated in the Times: “What makes Lil Nas X so extraordinary is how brave he is at being so outwardly gay within the urban music world.”

Lil Nas is breaking these boundaries which have not been accepted for a very long time, especially in rap music.

For his bravery, many LGBTQ+ people have expressed how much his actions have inspired them.
