Since storming to victory in the US Open last year, Emma Raducanu has struggled for form.

The 19-year-old has won just two of her seven matches this season.

Earlier this month, Raducanu failed to make it beyond the Round of 32 at Indian Wells.

Now, at the Miami Open, the Briton has succumbed to yet another early round exit.

Raducanu fell to Czech Republic’s Katerina Siniakova who dug deep to complete a three-set comeback win, 3-6 6-4 7-5, in the Round of 64.

“I think I just felt better as the match was going on really, I was fighting in the beginning,” Siniakova said. “It looks like I need to lose before I try to start to play my game!”

She added: “It was a really tough match and it could’ve gone either way, but I’m really happy that it [went] for me.”
