Eugene Levy Travels The World In New Apple TV+ Series ‘The Reluctant Traveler’
Eugene Levy is venturing into unfamiliar territory with a new travel series on Apple TV+.
The streaming platform has released the first trailer for The Reluctant Traveler, a show hosted and executive produced by the 76-year-old actor.
The series follows Levy as he explores some of the world’s most captivating destinations, from the Maldives to Finland, Utah, Lisbon, Tokyo and Costa Rica.
Along the way, he experiences thrilling local adventures, immerses himself in different cultures and stays in luxurious hotels.
In the trailer, Levy expresses his uncertainty about what he’s gotten himself into, but is excited to see what the journey has in store for him. Social media users have been quick to comment about the series concept and similarities when comparing it to the Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant series, An Idiot Abroad, that featured the life of Karl Pilkington and saw him venture around the world and go beyond his comfort zone.
The Reluctant Traveler premieres on February 24th on Apple TV+.
