Antonella Barba, former American Idol star, has been accused of trying to deliver almost two pounds of fentanyl.

Appearing on the sixth season of American Idol, Antonella made it into the Top 16 with Jordin Sparks winning at the end of the season.

She was arrested in October 2018 and has since been out on bond — Antonella was then taken back into custody on Monday facing federal charges of conspiracy to distribute fentanyl, cocaine and heroin.

According to law enforcement, she was one of several members that formed within a drug conspiracy from 2017 to 2018 in Virginia.
