‘Game of Thrones’ Made An Alternate Ending Says Kristofer Hivju

Kristofer Hivju, who played Tormund Giantsbane in Game of Thrones, has unearthed an HBO secret. 

The 40-year-old Norwegian actor told Metro UK that an alternative ending was shot — with many suggesting it was to ensure the real ending was a mystery to everyone involved.

Hardcore fans of the series were disgruntled by the final season, saying it was poorly written and seemed “rushed” even though the creators had around two years to craft it together.

Upsetting the apple cart further, Hivju said, “Well, we shot an alternative ending. That was mostly for fun but I don’t know if I’m allowed to tell you about that … I won’t tell you, but it was fun.”

Around 2 million viewers signed a petition for the final season to be remade but instead went on to win the Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series — congratulations by the way.

Could a petition begging asking for the alternative ending released be somewhat successful? It already exists, they just need to drop it as Jon Snow did with Khaleesi… spoiler alert.
