Woods has been spotted walking the green of Agusta – the home of the Masters – though is yet to confirm whether or not he will compete.
But fellow golfer Fred Couples predicts that Woods will make his highly anticipated return to the tournament he has won five times prior.
“I’m sure he’s going to tee it up Thursday,” Couples said. “The driver was a machine.”
Talking to ESPN, Couples talked highly of Woods’ practice form.
“He [Woods] looked phenomenal,” he said. “What impressed me the most is he was bombing it. I know JT’s [Justin Thomas] not the longest hitter on tour, but I know’s damn long. He was with him, flushing it.”
The Masters start on April 7, with a decision on Woods to be made then.
