Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong Asks Fans For Help After Car Theft

Billie Joe Armstrong has asked fans for help after his 1962 Chevrolet Nova was stolen.

The Green Day singer and long-time car collector took to Instagram to share news of the theft with his 2.4 million followers.

“My car was STOLEN,” he wrote in the caption. “This car is near and dear to all our hearts and has been in the GD family for over 30 years.”

“Please send any sightings, tips or info to Costa Mesa police.”

In a statement from the Costa Mesa Police, it was revealed that a number of other items had also been stolen, including two electric guitars and an amp.

Elsewhere, Green Day has been teasing the possibility of new music, with hints that a new album titled 1972 could be on the way.

Their last album, Father Of All Motherf***ers, was released in 2020.
