Halle Berry Hits Out At Internet Troll

Halle Berry doesn’t have time for internet trolls after she schooled one in her comments.
The actress shared a picture of Michelle Williams during her acceptance speech at the Emmy’s for Lead Actress in a Limited Series/Movie.
In the photo was a quote from Michelle’s speech that reads, “So the next time a woman, and especially a woman of colour, because she stands to make 52 cents on the dollar compared to her white male counterpart, tells you what she needs in order to do her job, listen to her, believe her.”
Halle captioned the post, “Exactly.” — an internet troll decided to comment, “Victimhood mentality or pandering… u don’t see Denzel or Morgan yapping away.”
The 53-year-old responded, saying, “with all due respect they are not black woman…and it’s not just about pay… it’s deeper than dollars!”
Commenters supported her response, with one saying, “I totally agree! I’m so thankful she used that moment to speak up about white males being paid more. But when will white women notice the inequality they also benefit from by also get paid more than other women of colour?”
Another said, “So referencing statistics and using those facts to shed light on an issue is victimhood and pandering? The length some of you will go to deflect and distract and to what end? What are you gaining from invalidating others’ experiences?”
