Halsey gave her opinion on the two women that were beaten on a train for being gay.

During a portion of her concert in the UK, the Nightmare singer wore a t-shirt with a photo of the victims on the front with the caption “F*** YOUR STRAIGHT PRIDE.” on the back.

Concertgoers were loving her stance on the recent attack against the LGBTQ community and delivered a speech supporting the community that she identifies as being a part of — Halsey associates as a bisexual woman.

She encouraged the audience to chant, “I will not be afraid.” — and during her heartfelt speech, she said, “When the glitter is being swept out of the streets, a lot of people get on those trains and they get on those buses, and they try to wash the rainbows off their bodies and they peel the stickers off their clothes, because when Pride is over, it’s not safe to be gay anything.

When people around the world ask the questions, ‘Why isn’t there a straight pride parade?’ The answer is because if there was one, you wouldn’t have to get on the bus and be terrified of getting f****** beaten or killed… every f****** day on public transport is a straight pride parade.”

Carrying a rainbow-coloured flag that was thrown to her by the audience, she said, “If you are in this crowd and you are queer, you need to make a promise to me. You need to promise me that you will not be afraid. Say it with me, ‘I will not be afraid!’”
