Jussie Smollett returns to social media and posts for the first time since January 29, 2019, the exact same date he was alleged to have been attacked.
The 36-year-old posted a clip on his Instagram of Moonlight’s Oscar-winning screenwriter, Tarrell Alvin McCraney, where he is discussing his play Choir Boy at the Tony Awards on Sunday.
In the caption, Jussie wrote, “So much #PRIDE”

Commenting has been disabled for the post, but he also tagged Tarrell.
He was cut from the upcoming sixth and final season of Empire with Lee Daniels, co-creator of the FOX drama saying, “Jussie will NOT be returning to Empire”
In April 2019, the City of Chicago sued Jussie after spending more than £130,000 “in overtime costs to investigate,” his alleged attack.
