Yesterday, Matthew Lewis, who played Neville Longbottom in Harry Potter, has pleaded with a thief to return his love letter from his wife, Angela Jones.
Matthew and Angela first began dating late 2016, later marrying in May 2018, and during that time Angela wrote a love letter to Matthew.
The actor explains, “if you stole my wallet in East London yesterday or even if you just found it: it’s yours, keep it, have the money, the cards, the lot. But the note from my wife engraved on a piece of metal, if you can post that to the address on the driving licence I’d call it evens. Please?”.
Fans are now attempting to spread the message far enough for the potential thief to see it and hopefully do the right thing and return not just the love letter–but the wallet and all of its contents.
Some are now fearing Matthew’s personal address will be released, but seemingly, that is the least of his worries.
Thief, if you read this, please return the love letter and all of the contents within the wallet.
