HBO Releases First Image From ‘The Last Of Us’
HBO has released the first image of Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey in The Last Of Us.
The new show is an adaptation of a critically acclaimed video game by Naughty Dog.
Set in a post-apocalyptic world where a fungus has transformed much of humanity into zombie-like creatures; the story follows a solitary survivor named Joel (Pascal), tasked with smuggling a 14-year-old Ellie (Ramsey) through the quarantine zone.
How closely the series, adapted by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann, will resemble the narrative of the video game is unknown.
Also confirmed to appear in the series is Dumbo actress, Nico Parker. She will portray the character of Sarah – the daughter of Joel.
The new picture was shared on the official Twitter pages of HBO and Druckmann.
