‘Bond’ Star Naomie Harris Says She Was Groped During An Audition

James Bond star Naomie Harris has revealed that she was assaulted during a past audition. 

The actress plays Eve Moneypenny in the Bond franchise.

In an interview with the Mail on Sunday, Naomie speaks out about sexual harassment and reveals that a “huge, huge star” groped her.

She refused to name the actor, but shared that he “slid his hand up her skirt while she was reading for a part.”

“What was so shocking about it was the casting director was there and the director, and of course no one said anything because he was – he is – such a huge star,” she said.

Harris reflects that she feels lucky to have only faced one incident, as sexual harassment/assault is so rife in the entertainment industry.

“That was my only #MeToo incident, so I felt very lucky given how rife that behaviour was.”

“Now things have definitely changed: I was on a project where there was a #MeToo incident and there was no hesitation, [the perpetrator] was immediately removed.”
