James Denton Wasn’t In DUI Car Accident

James Denton has not been involved in a multi-car DUI car accident on Friday. 

TMZ.com reported earlier today that The Good Witch actor had been involved in a DUI car accident, but they were incorrect.

Credit where it’s due: TMZ.com reported on an accident that had taken place that day, with multiple vehicles involved — and one injured party has the name of James Denton — but this is not the actor.

They said that James “was in a multi-car accident near LAX around 9:30 AM Friday … according to law enforcement sources.” furthering that “first responders found Denton in his wrecked vehicle — awake and bizarrely laughing.”

The tabloid stated he “was taken to a hospital to get treatment for a head abrasion and a cut to his arm” and claimed, “he’s currently being detained on suspicion of DUI.”

A representative for James has since informed TMZ.com that he is “safe and sound in Canada,” and “on set of his current TV series,” The Good Witch.
