Jennifer Lawrence Is Vanity Fair’s December Cover

Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence is finally back on our screens after a year-long hiatus. Lawrence is teaming up with the likes of Adam McKay, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Timothée Chamalet in the new Netflix comedy, Don’t Look Up.

It will be the actresses first ever comedy and comes after “Her last four movies […] turned out to be critical or box office disappointments” as stated in Vanity Fair.

Lawrence is making her return to the industry just after announcing her pregnancy to husband Cooke Maroney. You can read more about this here.

When speaking to the magazine Lawrence exclaimed: “I’m so nervous…I haven’t spoken to the world in forever. And to come back now, when I have all of these new accessories added to my life that I obviously want to protect….”

Vanity took to Instagram in a post, writing:

“Presenting our December cover star, #JenniferLawrence. After a long break from the public eye, the Oscar winner returns to the limelight alongside Meryl Streep and Leonardo DiCaprio in Adam McKay’s end-of-the-world comedy, Don’t Look Up. Now married with her first child on the way, Lawrence speaks to V.F. about love, fame, and boundaries.”

The star admitted to thinking “every boy had gotten sick of [her]”

“I’d gotten sick of me. It had just gotten to a point where I couldn’t do anything right” as written by Vanity.

According to Vanity, DiCaprio calls Lawrence ‘one of the most talented actors working today’”.

The film is set to release on December 10.
