Joaquin Phoenix Joins Ari Aster’s ‘Disappointment Blvd’

Ari Aster’s new film ‘Disappointment Blvd‘ will star Joaquin Phoenix.

The new role will be Phoenix’s first since Joker – a film which won him an Academy Award for best actor.

Later in the year Phoneix will feature in Mike Mills‘ new drama, ‘C’mon C’mon‘.

According to Deadline, Disappointment Blvd is a decades-spanning portrait of one of the most successful entrepreneurs of all time.

Aster, who is best known for directing Midsommar and Hereditary, will continue his partnership with A24 for this latest production.

Other names attached to the project include Amy Ryan, Nathan Lane, Kylie Rogers and Patti LuPone. Aster will produce alongside Lars Knudsen.
