Jodie Turner-Smith’s Family Jewellery Robbed at Cannes Film Festival

Jodie Turner-Smith’s personally jewellery was robbed from her hotel room by two robbers whilst she attended the Cannes Film Festival.

The actor’s hotel room was broken into last week on Friday, July 9 by two robbers. Tens of thousands of euros worth of jewellery were stolen in the robbery.

Smith at the time of the robbery was not present in the hotel room and instead was out for breakfast. Both Smith and her daughter were moved to a different hotel room after the robbery.

It’s believed that the robbers were possibly looking for the gold and diamond Gucci High Jewellery collection Smith was seen wearing on the red carpet at the ‘After Yang’ premiere.

On Sunday, July 11 Smith tweeted “didn’t think I would be spending 2.5 hours in the police station on my final day in cannes, but here we are…”

A police investigation is currently underway, however, no arrests have been made yet. Back in 2013 million’s of dollars worth of jewellery was stolen from the festival.
