Joe Exotic Wants Fans To Help Him Pay Back Carole Baskin
Joe Exotic has started a GoFundMe and is asking fans to help him pay legal fees associated with his ongoing feud with Carole Baskin.
According to new legal documents obtained by TMZ, a judge has sanctioned the Tiger King star and ordered him to pay Baskin nearly $10,000 from a dispute over the infamous zoo he used to own.
On top of this, Exotic also reportedly still owes $1 million to Baskin’s Big Cat Rescue from her trademark infringement lawsuit.
In a heartfelt plea on his GoFundMe page, setup by his lawyer John Phillips, Exotic says: “I will walk out of prison with my clothes on my back, a $1 million judgment and no home or clothes. My health is deteriorating and prison has not been kind. Simply put, I cannot get a fresh start until I pay that b**ch Carole Baskin back.”
Elsewhere, Exotic is set to be re-sentenced later this month on January 28 after the U.S. Court Of Appeals agreed that the Tiger King star should only have been facing one conviction.
