Joe Goldberg returns for a second season in Netflix’s You after the streaming service release teaser trailer.

The streaming giant dropped a teaser trailer on social media yesterday that has sent fantasy-murderer-watchers into a frenzy, begging for a full trailer.

Releasing worldwide on December 26, 2019, the second season will follow the life of Joe post Guinevere Beck — season one saw Joe become obsessed with Beck and her life, and quickly finds himself in a web of lies after murdering friends and potential threats to his and Beck’s relationship.

Ending on a huge cliffhanger, a questions unanswered, fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the second season — which is closer than anticipated — but not close enough.

Penn Badgley, the actor behind Joe Goldberg, posted on Instagram, “Ready for a fresh start.” — in February of this year, the first table read took place, so fans haven’t waited that long from pre-production to the final product.
