Joel Kinnaman Gets Restraining Order Against Model
Joel Kinnaman has obtained a restraining order against a former sexual partner Gabriella Magnusson, also known as Bella Davis.
In a post to Instagram, Kinnaman said he had a brief relationship with a model – Davis – in 2018. He said the pair had had two consensual sexual encounters but in 2019 Davis began sending increasingly threatening messages.
Kinnaman claims that Davis has threatened to publicly accuse him of rape unless he agreed to her demands. The 41-year-old Suicide Squad actor alleges Davis told him to verify her Instagram page, provide her with Hollywood connections, help her secure a work visa, arrange a photoshoot with Sports Illustrated and pay her $400,000.
“Earlier this morning, I filed for a restraining order against a woman who has been threatening to physically harm me and my family and loved ones, and attempting to extort money and other things of value to me.” Said Kinnaman.
“While it is mortifying and scary to come forward about all of this, what feels worse is enduring the escalating daily threats of physical harm to me and my loves ones and threats to go to the press with fabricated, vile rumours.”
“Hoping to resolve this situation, on July 25, I had a lengthy telephone conversation with Bella, which she knew was being recorded.” He continued. “In that taped conversation, Bella more than once acknowledged that the sex was consensual. In the same conversation, she reiterated her threat to tell the media that it was against her will unless I met her demands.”

“I want to be VERY clear so there is no misunderstanding: I stand by all victims of sexual assault.” Emphasised Kinnaman. “That is not what occurred here. This was consensual sex. And now it is an attempt to extort.”
