John Cena Hopes Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Returns To WWE

John Cena has said that he would love to see retired pro wrestler Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson return to the WWE.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, at the screening of his new movie ‘Vacation Friends’, the 44-year old actor said that he would love to see Johnson return to the ring one day.

“He is the most electrifying man in sports entertainment. So as a fan, do I want to see one of the greatest performers of all time step back in the WWE ring? Yeah,” Cena said.

“But in no way am I gonna call him and if I’m gonna talk to him about something, it’s not gonna try to be to get him back in the WWE ring. He needs to come to that conclusion by himself,” he added.

Johnson, retired from professional wrestling in 2019 so that he could focus on his acting career. Cena, however, currently still wrestles professionally for the WWE whilst also acting in a number of high-profile movies.
