John Lithgow Joins Showtimes ‘Dexter’ Revival Cast

Returning to the show where the actor won an Emmy and Golden Globe, John Lithgow will return in what will be a “short decisive appearance”.

Last seen on the show in the season four finale in 2009, in which his character Arthur Mitchell seemed to be killed by Dexter, the actor will appear once again for the upcoming Dexter revival.

Lithgrow has won many awards, including six Emmys, two Tonys and two Golden Globes.

Lithgow is “expected to only film for about a day or so on the L.A. set production.”
