Johnny Depp Attends ‘Puffins’ Premiere In Italy
Johnny Depp attended the premiere of his new television series, Puffins, at the Rome Film Festival this Sunday.
Depp arrived on the red carpet looking casually stylish, wearing jeans with a striped black waistcoat and white shirt under a trendy tan jacket. He finished the look with his customary shades, red scarf and black fedora.
Puffins is a mini-series following the adventures of a bunch of funny little birds – minions of the sly walrus Otto. Depp provides the voice of Johnny Puff.
There will be 250 five-minute episodes in the series, available through Amazon Prime and Apple TV.
Depp’s appearance comes following his recent condemnation of cancel culture. His comments came as he collected his honorary Donostia Award at San Sebastian Film Festival.
“It can be seen as an event in history that lasted for however long it lasted,” Said Depp. “This cancel culture, this instant rush to judgment based on what essentially amounts to polluted air.”
Puffins is not Depp’s first voice acting role, the 58-year-old actor having previously worked on Rango and The Corpse Bride.
