Jussie Smollett Won’t Be Meeting With Cops Today About Alleged Attack

Jussie Smollett’s PR representative, Anne Kavanagh, has released a statement about a supposed meeting with cops.

Rumours began circulating yesterday that Jussie would be meeting with Chicago Police Department in relation to the alleged attack and the possibility that it was staged.

His PR team have said, “There are no plans for Jussie Smollett to meet with Chicago police today. Any news reports suggesting otherwise are inaccurate. Smollett’s attorneys will keep an active dialogue going with Chicago police on his behalf. We have no further comment today.”

Chicago police have stated, “we have some information that needs to be corroborated and verified with the Empire case member,” — in response as to whether or not he is a victim or suspect in the case due to recent allegations that he staged the attack.
