It’s enough to say that Kanye West took time out of his hectic schedule attend the Broadway show of Cher’s life — but an eagle eyed cast member tweeted Kanye due to his phone usage.

Jarrod Spector, who’s playing Sonny Bono in the show, contacted Kanye on Twitter saying, “Hey Kanye West so cool that you’re here at The Cher Show! If you look up from your cell phone you’ll see we’re doing a show up here. It’s opening night. Kind of a big deal for us. Thanks so much,”.

It was from this moment fans of both Cher and Kanye began filling up Kanye’s Twitter Mentions in order to get his attention, and it sure worked, ironically.

Kanye responded to the situation by replying, “The dynamics of Cher and Sonny’s relationship made Kim [Kardashian] and I grab each other’s hand and sing ‘I got you babe’ please pardon my lack of etiquette. We have so much appreciation for the energy you guys put into making this master piece,”.

Allegedly, they even cancelled their flight to watch the show until the end, and the reason for his phone usage was due to him taking notes on the production.
