Kanye West Claims Universal Released ‘DONDA’ Without His Approval

Kanye West has claimed that his label Universal Music Group, released his new album ‘DONDA’ without his approval. 

Kanye’s much-anticipated 10th Album DONDA finally released on August 29 after a number of delays and listening events.

However, shortly after release Kanye posted on his social media claiming that Universal had released the new album without his approval.

Kanye also claims that the label prevented him from putting his controversial track Jail Pt. 2 on the album.

“Universal put my album out without my approval and they blocked Jail 2 from being on the album,” the rapper said.

Jail Pt. 2 is a collaborative track that features DaBaby and Marilyn Manson and was initially unavailable on streaming platforms despite being listed as a track on the album.

Since Kanye’s post, Jail Pt. 2, is now available to listen to on Spotify and Apple Music.

The rappers new album DONDA has so far received mixed reviews from critics. NME gave the album a three-star review saying that it has “some gems among lots of filler”.
