Katie Couric Hosting ‘Jeopardy!’ After Final Alex Trebek Episode Airs

Katie Couric will host Jeopardy! on a temporary basis.

The 63-year-old television journalist will temporarily serve as a host for the game show after the final episode featuring Alex Trebek airs later this week.

She joins four other guest hosts that will continue Trebek’s legacy after he sadly lost his battle to pancreatic cancer in November 2020 a year after announcing his diagnosis in 2019.

Alex filmed his final episode just 10 days before his death. In terms of a long term replacement for the series, Sony Pictures Television, producers of the show, have declined to comment.
