Kevin Hart’s Comedy ‘Die Hart’ Renewed

Former Quibi series ‘Die Hart’ starring Kevin Hart renewed for a second season at Roku. ‘Die Hart’ becomes Roku’s first renewal.

Quibi, the short form mobile streaming service, originally produced the first season of ‘Die Hart’ starring Kevin Hart.

They announced in December 2020 they would be shutting down and in January they sold their entire content library, which included ‘Die Hart’, to Roku.

Roku re-released ‘Die Hart’, alongside other ex-Quibi originals, on May 20. Quibi had originally renewed the series before shutting down.

The renewal of the series comes after the company announced the show was a big hit.

“We couldn’t be more excited to bring an equally hilarious, action-packed second season to the record number of viewers who have watched in recent days,” said Roku’s head of original scripted programming.

It has not yet been confirmed when the second season will debut.
