Kim Kardashian officially files for divorce from Kanye West.
The 40-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has filed for divorce from the 43-year-old rapper after nearly seven years of marriage.
According to legal documentation, Kardashian is asking for joint legal and physical custody of their four children, with West being “fine” with this arrangement and will commit to co-parenting. They share North, 7, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3 and Psalm, 1.
The now former couple are “already far along in reaching a property settlement agreements.” and neither are contesting the prenuptial agreement. A separation date for Kim and Kanye hasn’t been listed in the filed court documents.
Sources connected to the situation claim that the reality star was ready to end their marriage before the rappers 2020 presidential campaign, but due to his struggle with a bipolar disorder-related episode, she “felt it would be cruel to end the marriage when he wasn’t doing well,”
