Kim Kardashian wanted a family Christmas card opportunity with her family to go smoothly… turns out, getting four kids to smile for the camera ain’t that easy.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians reality-star was on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday when she revealed that North West, 6, “was having a day,” when the camera was pointed at the family.

According to the 39-year-old mother of 4, North was causing that much of a disruption to the photoshoot that she had to be Photoshopped into the picture. The Christmas card features Kim, North, Kanye West, Saint, 4, Chicago, 1, and Psalm, 7 months.

She said, “It’s the most anxiety to get four kids together smiling in a room. North was having a day, so she refused to be in the shoot. She just was crying because she wanted her specific hairstyle, whatever.”

Kardashian continued, “I said, ‘Fine you’re not gonna be in the card. That’s the decision, you’re not gonna be in the card. I’m just going to take the family card without you,’ And [North] was fine with that. The next day she woke up and was like ‘Mommy, I really want to do a card.’”

Fortunately, the family-photographer was close by and took North’s picture separately and Photoshopped her into the family card. Kim said, “I would’ve rather done it this way than the anxiety of what I went through of trying to get — I mean, Chicago has a cookie in her hand, I was really holding Psalm there, Saint was really there. The rest of us were there, but North … that was a lot … There’s always one.”
