Kris Wu Hit With New Rape Accusation From A Woman In The US

Canadian-Chinese celebrity Kris Wu is now facing a second rape allegation, this time from a woman in the US.

Wu, who is a former member of K-pop boyband EXO, had been accused by his rumoured 19-year-old ex-girlfriend Du Meizhu of date rape.

She also accused the singer of preying on underage girls in order to have sex with them.

Wu, initially denied all the allegations made against him on Chinese social media platform Weibo however the platform later suspended his account.

The Beijing police force then announced on July 31 that they had arrested Wu on suspicion of rape.

According to a report by The Straits Times, a second woman from Los Angeles in the US is now also accusing the singer of rape.

The woman claims that she had attended one of Wu’s parties and alleges that pills where passed around shortly before she lost consciousness and was sexually assaulted.

The report also states that as many as 24 women have come forward in China with similar stories of being drugged and then pressured into having sex with the former K-pop star.

If Wu, is found guilty of rape by the Chinese authorities, he could ultimately face up to 11 years in prison.
