Kyle MacLachlan Joins Cast Of ‘Joe Exotic’ Series

Kyle MacLachlan has joined the cast of the upcoming Joe Exotic limited series and will play the role of Harold Baskin.

MacLachlan will play the role of Carole Baskin’s husband Harold. Harold stood by Baskin’s side during her ongoing feud with business partner Joe Exotic.

Carole’s first husband Don Lewis disappeared in 1997. No arrests have been made in connection with the disappearance and a criminal case is still open today.

Other cast members for the series include Kate McKinnon will play the role of Carole Baskin and John Cameron Mitchell who will play the role of Joe Exotic.

The series produced by video streaming service Peacock will focus on the rivalry between Baskin and Exotic. Baskin famously tried to shut down Exotic’s big cat venture after learning that he was breeding the cats for profit.

Exotic is currently serving a 22 year-sentence in a Texas prison for attempting to hire a a hitman to assassinate Baskin.
