Kylie Jenner Fights Self-Made Billionaire Criticism

Kylie Jenner has had enough of people saying she isn’t a self-made billionaire. 

She has lashed out during an interview, with Interview in Germany, saying, “There’s really no other word to use other than self-made because that is the truth. That is the category that I fall under.”

Admitting her TV fame on Keeping Up With The Kardashians helped on her journey of becoming a self-made billionaire, she demands that the title is true, saying, “I am a special case because before I started Kylie Cosmetics, I had a huge platform and lots of fans … I did not get money from my parents past the age of 15.

I used 100% of my own money to start the company, not a dime in my bank account is inherited … and I am very proud of that.”

Earlier this year, the 21-year-old knocked Mark Zuckerberg off the top spot, with Kylie now being a self-made billionaire at 21-years of age, whereas Mark was 23 by the time he gained his billionaire status.

Fun fact: in 2015, Kylie Cosmetics was launched by Kylie herself, and now Forbes estimates the worth to be $900 million — this is just one of Kylie’s businesses.
