Lana Del Rey “Requires Privacy” And Deactivates All Social Media

Lana Del Rey has deactivated all of her social media accounts because some of the things she’s currently working on “require privacy”. 

The singer shared a video yesterday, in which she explained to her fans that on Monday, September 13, she would be deactivating all of her social media accounts.

According to Lana, the reason she has decided to step away from social media is because some of things that she’s currently working on “require privacy and transparency”.

“Hi guys, I just wanted to let you know that tomorrow we are going to be deactivating our social media accounts, my social media accounts,” she said in the video.

“That is simply because I have so many interests, and other jobs I’m doing that require privacy and transparency,” she added.

Lana also assured fans that she was continuing work on her spoken word albums as well as her other music projects and poetry.

“I’m still very present and love what I do. I am absolutely here for the music,” the singer said.

As of the time of writing, Lana has deactivated her social media accounts including her Instagram and Twitter.
