Lisa Vanderpump Breaks Leg During Horseback Accident
Lisa Vanderpump has been hospitalised after suffering an accident while horse riding.
The 61-year-old star of Vanderpump Rules and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is a long-time animal enthusiast, who has ridden horses for several years.
According to TMZ, the accident occurred on Sunday whilst riding at The Paddock in LA. Vanderpump was reportedly thrown over the horse’s head and onto her back after the animal became spooked.
An ambulance was called immediately following the incident and Vanderpump was joined at the hospital by her husband of 40 years, Ken Todd.
Though her leg was broken in two places, she is expected to make a full recovery after undergoing surgery.
The injury comes just a few weeks after Vanderpump confirmed she had contracted COVID-19, writing in an Instagram post: “Agh it finally got me… #covid_19”.
