Lorde Explains Why She Left Social Media & Removed Herself From The Public Eye

Lorde is explaining part of the reason why she left the public eye and dropped off social media.

The 23-year-old Green Light singer explained her reasoning with Interview, telling Cassie David that she needed to remove herself before she lost her mind.

She said, “Part of what made me peace out on social media, apart from feeling like I was losing my free will, was the massive amounts of stress I was feeling about our planet, about systemic racism, and about police brutality in this country.”

Rumours were sparked that she is dating Universal Music executive Justin Warren as she recently teased upcoming music shortly before stepping out with the music-guru.
