‘Wipeout’ Contestant Dies After Complaining Of ‘Chest Pain’ When Finishing Course

A Wipeout contestant has died after suffering from ‘chest pain’ once finishing an obstacle course.

Emergency services were called to the scene after a man complained of suffering from chest pain after he completed the Wipeout obstacle course.

On-site paramedics were treating the man for cardiac arrest before calling an ambulance to attend – they started suing a defibrillator before the ambulance arrived to escort him to the hospital.

The man tragically passed away after being hospitalised despite the best attempts of resuscitating the contestant on-site and at the hospital.

Endemol Shine North America, the production company behind the reboot of Wipeout, made a statement, “We offer our heartfelt condolences to the family and our thoughts are with them at this time.”
