Louis Partridge Cast In Legendary’s ‘Ferryman’

Louis Partridge will star in Legendary’s upcoming fantasy romance film, Ferryman.
The film is based on a book trilogy by Claire McFall.
According to Deadline, Kelly Marcel will make her directorial debut for the film, following her own script adaptation. She will also produce the feature.
Ferryman follows Tristan, a mysterious being tasked with leading departed souls to the afterlife. When a train crashes in the Scottish Highlands, he meets a spirited young woman named Dylan, who struggles against her fate.
While Tristan’s duty is to protect Dylan from an encroaching darkness, their journey becomes increasingly perilous as they fall in love and Dylan refuses to leave him behind.
Marcel’s previous work includes writing and producing for Marvel’s Venom and Venom: Let There Be Carnage. She also penned the script for Fifty Shades of Grey and co-wrote for Saving Mr Banks.
Partridge is best known for playing Tewkesbury in the Netflix hit Enola Holmes, and will reprise his role in the sequel. He has also featured in Pan and Paddington 2.
