George Clooney Looks Back On His Stint As ‘Batman’

Actor George Clooney has once again reflected on his stint as Batman in 1997 film Batman & Robin, saying he completely screwed it up.

Speaking during a Q&A session at the screening of his upcoming movie, The Tender Bar, Clooney revealed that he is well aware he messed up badly when he got the chance to play the superhero.

“I did one superhero movie and I f***ed it up so bad they won’t let me near the set,” he said.

It’s not the first time Clooney has reflected on his stint as Batman, he recently admitted to Variety that the 1997 film is one of the few movies he wont let his wife Amal watch. You can read more about this here.

“There are certain films I just go… I’m afraid I want my wife to have some respect for me,” he said.

Clooney’s new film, The Tender Bar, is set for release in cinemas on December 22.
