Madonna Sued By Florida Man For Being Late To Her Concert

Madonna has been sued by a Florida man for being late to her own concert.
A federal lawsuit has been filed by a man in Florida against Madonna and the concert promoter, Live Nation.
According to legal documentation filed in Miami-Dade County, Nate Hollander is suing the parties after he allegedly purchased three tickets for her Madame X Tour at the Fillmore Miami Beach venue that is scheduled for December 17, 2019.
In the lawsuit, he claims the tickets totalled $1,024.95 and when he originally purchased said tickets, the concert was slated to begin at 8:30 PM, but now he claims Madonna has a “long history of arriving and starting her concerts late,” and makes a point that the show has been rescheduled to begin at 10:30 PM.
Hollander is claiming that due to the updated timings, it will be impossible for the ticket holders he purchased the tickets for to attend, saying, “ticketholders had to work and go to school the next day, which prevented them from attending a concert that would end at around 1:00 a.m.”
Nate alleges that the box office is refusing to give him a refund, leaving him with no alternative but to resell the tickets for a net loss via Ticketmaster.
The lawsuit claims, “Due to the change in the start times … all tickets purchased by Hollander and all class members suffered an extreme loss in value, making it impossible for Hollander and all class members to recover the amount paid for said tickets by reselling them.”
He is seeking unspecified damages and is suing for negligent misrepresentation and breach of contract.
