Mark Ronson Teases New Docuseries

The Mark Ronson Docuseries, ‘Watch The Sound’,will debut July 30 on Apple TV+
The series will feature appearances from the likes of Charli XCX, Paul McCartney, and Tame Impala, among many others.
In the recently dropped trailer, Ronson gushes about the magic of music creation with his celebrity guests as well as explaining; “I’ve always been obsessed with how things sound. It’s the difference between a great song and an iconic recording”.
The six-part docuseries shows how Ronson digs into the untold stories behind some of the worlds most favourite songs and how difficult it can be searching for the perfect sound.
In addition to this, the trailer shows Mark asking other artists what they use in order to create their unique style.
Oscar-winning producer, Morgan Neville, stated that the series examines “sound creation and the revolutionary technology that has shaped music as we know it”. With Ronson unveiling an original piece of music at the end of every episode, using technology and techniques including auto tune, sampling, and drum machines.
Earlier this month, Mark revealed on a podcast that he was a workaholic which resulted in him going to therapy to try and help him deal with disconnecting from his work. He confessed “it’s almost like being an addict”.
