Mad Men creator, Matthew Weiner, has filed for divorce from his wife of almost 30 years.

According to legal documentation, he filed for divorce from his wife Linda Brettler on Wednesday.

They married in 1991, and have four children together — one of their children, Marten Holden Weiner, played Glen Bishop in Mad Men. In 2017, it is believed Matthew made $30 million for the final three seasons, but it is unclear if the couple had a prenup, but if they did, Linda could be in for a big payday.

He won seven Emmys and three Golden Globes for Mad Men, and as of season four onwards, Matthew received $125,000 per award win.

In November 2017, his former assistant and writer, Kater Gordon, accused him of sexual harassment, saying during the writing for season two of Mad Men, he made out that she owed it to him to see her without close on, further saying to Vanity Fair that is was “not an isolated incident.”

Matthew told the New York Times that he was “sad that I might have caused people anguish in the job, or made people unhappy.”

A former consultant for the show, Marti Noxon, described Matthew at the time as “devilishly clever and witty, but he is also, in the words of one of his colleagues, an ’emotional terrorist’ who will badger, seduce and even tantrum in an attempt to get his needs met.”
