Mika Releases New Single, Announces Tour & New Album
It’s here, the single is finally here; Ice Cream by MIKA.
The Grace Kelly singer has released the much anticipated single, Ice Cream which features lyrics all about summer and the sweltering heat that we all hope for each year.
Mika has also announced his new album, My Name Is Michael Holbrook, which is slated for release on October 4, 2019, and will be distributed by Republic Records, part of the Universal Music Group. October 4 is too far away, but patience is a virtue, apparently.
The lyrics for Ice Cream are clever, he dives into the ongoing global issue of climate change, singing, “39 degrees, too hot for the bees. The faucet keeps on dripping, the clock keeps on ticking.”
The tour: Mika has revealed details of his upcoming tour, that will support his new album; Revolution Tour is the name, and will start on November 10, 2019, and finish in February 2020. Tickets will be available in the UK from 9 am, June 7, 2019, and 10 am for Europe.
