Miley Cyrus Covers Interview Magazine
Miley Cyrus has taken to her Instagram page and announced she is on the cover of Interview Magazine for their November issue.
The 28-year-old singer released the cover picture through an Instagram post as well as a thirty second video from the photo-shoot with a quote from the interview as the caption:
“Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get.” ?
Cyrus also offered an interview for the magazine which was a conversation between her and Metallica’s drummer Lars Ulrich.
In the interview, she touched upon the struggles she faced due to her voice’s sound as well as what it meant for her to cover Metallica’s Nothing Else Matters, stating:
”I don’t have a false voice. You know me personally, we’ve hung at parties. I am who I am. I say what I mean in the moment, even if that changes tomorrow.”
“I was honored by the fact that I didn’t have to sing this song in the way that females are “supposed” to sing. You can hear that at the end of the song, when I take the gloves off and just start flying. That part of the song really grabs people. It’s that lower register of my voice.”
“So I’m grateful to have a song where I can lean into that.”
