Miley Cyrus Speaks On Four Year Anniversary Of Song ‘Malibu’
Four years after releasing her song Malibu, Miley Cyrus explains what the song meant to her at the time of writing.
Miley took to Instagram to reveal some behind the scenes footage of the recording of her song, Malibu. The singer also mentions what the song is about, describing it as being “about a place and person” that she loved. At the time of the songs release in May 2017, the singer was engaged to actor Liam Hemsworth. The couple got married back in December 2018, but separated in August of 2019.
Malibu reached the number 10 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart, and since then has been a song that Cyrus has reflected on during the fourth anniversary.
