The American teen sitcom originally aired from 2007 to 2012, with Cosgrove starring as the titular influencer and web show host. In June of 2021, the show was revived, with a now-adult Cosgrove reprising the role of iCarly. Also returning from the original cast were Jerry Trainor and Nathan Kress.
Cosgrove also featured in Nickelodeon’s Drake & Josh as Megan Parker – the step-sister of Peck’s titular character, Josh Nichols.
The pair have maintained a close friendship, occasionally appearing on each other’s social media. Only yesterday (December 8) Peck shared a selfie of the pair together, possibly foreboding an on-screen reunion, captioned: “Sibs”.
Now, Cosgrove has confirmed to E! News that a reunion may be on the cards in season 2 of iCarly.
“I think there’s a really good chance that he’s gonna be in the second season that we’re filming right now,” she said. “I don’t know exactly what the character is gonna be, but you know, Josh and I are friends, and he was nice enough to say he’d do an episode.”
