Music Legend Clarence Avant’s Wife Killed In Home Invasion

Jacqueline Avant, the wife of music icon Clarence Avant, has been shot and killed during a home invasion at their LA residence. 

Netflix has confirmed that Jacqueline, whose daughter Nicole is married to Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos, was sadly shot and killed during a home invasion at the Avant residence early Wednesday morning.

According to the Beverly Hills Police, they received a call at 2:30 am local time, concerning a shooting that had taken place at the couples home.

When officers arrived at the scene, an unnamed victim had suffered a serious gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where they sadly died from their injuries.

In a statement released to USA Today, the Avant and Sarandos families have thanked everyone for their “love and support.”

“Jacqueline was an amazing woman, wife, mother and philanthropist and a 55 year resident of Beverly Hills who has made an immeasurable positive impact on the arts community,” the statement reads.

“She will be missed by her family, friends and all of the people she has helped throughout her amazing life.”

Rest in Peace, Jaqueline.
