Naomi Osaka Bounces Back At The Miami Open

After a turbulent time at Indian Wells, Naomi Osaka has bounced back with a first round win at the Miami Open.
Osaka was left in tears after she was heckled in a second round defeat last week.
But now the 24-year-old wants to put it behind her and move forward.
A straight-set win of 6-3 6-4 against Australia’s Astra Sharma gave her an opening round win in Miami.
“I didn’t want to let anything bother me, no matter what happened,” Osaka said. “I wanted to prove that I could come back out here and compete, and no matter if I won or lost, to just know that I had the best attitude I could.”
Osaka admitted that last time out was “not the greatest memory for me.”
She will now face Germany’s Angelique Kerber in the second round.
